The Civic Association of the Floor Layers´ Guild of the Czech Republic o. s.

is a professional association of firms which seek to conduct business in providing wooden, laminate, textile, coverings and industrial floors according to technical standards.

We are members of the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Association of Building Entrepreneurs of the Czech Republic.
We cooperate closely and intensively with manufactures and importers of oils, paints, construction chemicals, tools, profiled skirting boards and floor coverings.
Through organising the FLOOR CUP apprentice competition, providing training material required for practical training as well as participating in the European Championships for young parquet layers up to 25 years of age, we actively support the training of young apprentice floor layers, and our representatives are part of examination boards during the final apprenticeship examinations.
Through Floor Layer's UPGRADE, we assist our members to enhance their professional and entrepreneurship-related knowledge.
We organise the Floors World Conference and Innovation of the Year Competition in the floor installation field as well as a Mini Trade Fair on Flooring.
We cooperate with a number of research and testing institutes.
We publish the «Flooring Special» newsletter.
We organise the Floor Layers´ Open Golf Championship of the Czech Republic and tennis tournament.
We operate centres at fair trades, providing free consultancy service.
